 The JEDSEY JOURNAL represents the rebirth of a Jersey City based newsletter from the late '50s early '60s.

At a 1996 reunion Maarrk Claarrkin suggested that Jed use the newly popular Internet to bring back the JEDSY JOURNAL of long ago and the result has been most rewarding as people reach back from around the globe to re-establish old ties and establish new ones - which they often discover they have had all along through the magic formula of 2 degrees of separation that governs Jersey City expats.

At jedsey.com you will always find the latest issue of the JJ along with archives of previous issues both old (back to 1996) and vintage ('50s and '60s).

In addition there are email links to many readers and links to personal websites and other related websites.

Breaking news and photos are posted to keep you updated between issues.

There is never a charge for the JJ but as soon as you feel comfortable with what is being published, we ask you to pay for your "subscription" by joining in with stories of your own.  The best stories are always those submitted by our readers and annually we give an award for the best articles submitted.

You can also join with us on Badd Ladd Day every year for a romp through the old neighborhoods and some wonderful camaraderie as we recall the stories of yesteryear and personally provide the updates and footnotes to this continuing saga.
